A Bold Sci-Fi Twist
I didn’t expect this story to pull me in so quickly. The worldbuilding is bold and imaginative, flipping familiar power dynamics while keeping the emotional stakes grounded. The mix of political intrigue, sci-fi action, and personal conflict kept me curious about every character’s true motives.
What stood out most was how the story balanced epic scale with intimate moments of identity and freedom. The mystery surrounding Ethan and the shifting alliances made it hard to stop reading. It feels like the beginning of something much larger and surprisingly thoughtful.
Proper unique space opera packed with lore
Really enjoyed this one! The whole setup with the Gynarchy empire and the Golden Sire is very creative and unique, definitely not your standard sci-fi. The political tension and genetic conspiracy stuff with Ethan, Seraphina, and the pirates were also great. There’s loads of lore to take in with all the different factions, breeding programs, and the Zeta Reticulans, so you definitely have to pay attention to keep up. It’s a cracking read if you’re into dystopian books with massive worldbuilding. Well worth sticking with.
